Il Soo Park joined Woori PE in April 2024 as a head of Risk and Compliance.

Prior to joining Woori PE, Il Soo Park worked for Finance and Economy Dept. in Hanil Economic Research Institution, IB Dept. in Woori Financial Group, and a wide range of career in Woori Bank(International Finance Dept. Derivatives Finance Dept, Joo-ang Corporate Banking Headquarters, etc).

Il Soo holds MA in Economics and BA in Business Administration from Yonsei University.

Byoung Heon Lee Head of PE Division / PE

Byungheon Lee, Head of PE Division, joined Woori PE in August 2018 and has overseen all investments in the private equity division, including the Woori-Shinyoung Growth-Cap No. 1 PEF, NH-Woori New Deal Growth Alpha No. 1 PEF, and Green ESG Growth No. 1 PEF. As a key manager of several PEFs, he has been instrumental in sourcing investments in companies such as Krafton, Dongshin, and The Best Financial. During the investment in Enchem, he led the investment process as an anchor investor by forming a consortium with other investors. Byungheon places priority on stable investment returns, gaining trust from LP investors, and focusing on identifying promising investment opportunities. His sector expertise spans logistics, IT, and secondary batteries, and he is dedicated to discovering growth-oriented companies in these fields. Prior to joining Woori PE, he worked at Samil PwC, specializing in audit and M&A advisory. He also handled M&A operations in the beauty sector at AmorePacific and led M&A execution at CJ Logistics.

Byungheon Lee graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Linguistics and earned an MBA from INSEAD. He is also a certified public accountant (KICPA)

Sejung Kim Head of Investment Solutions Division / Investment Solutions

Sejung joined Woori PE Asset Management in July 2024 as the Head of the Investment Solutions Division, which includes Private Credit, Secondary Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, and Fund of Fund investments.

Prior to joining Woori PE, Sejung was at the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, where he focused on investments in startups, issuance of PCBOs, and venture debt to drive growth in innovation-driven companies. Before that, he was Head of Life Insurance (LDI) Asset Management at Hanwha Asset Management and prior to that, Sejung worked at Hanhwa Life Insurance as an asset allocator and at Korea Investment and Shinyoung Securities as an analyst. Sejung holds an MPP from KDIS and a BA in Business Administration from Korea University.

Taeho Yoon Managing Director / Investment Solutions

Taeho Yoon joined Woori PE Asset Management in August 2024 as a Managing Director and is responsible for managing Private Debt, Credit, Secondary, and Infrastructure Funds. Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, he served as an Investment Advisor at Weiss Asset Management and Neon Liberty Capital Management in the United States. He also worked as a Senior Research Analyst in the Research Centers of Korea Investment & Securities and NH Investment & Securities. From 2014 to 2019, he consistently ranked 1st to 3rd in the annual Best Analyst polls conducted by major domestic and global broker polls such as Maeil Business Newspaper, Korea Economic Daily, Chosun Ilbo, and Asia Money.

Taeho Yoon holds an MBA from Columbia University, Columbia Business School and majored in business administration from Kyunghee University.

Sung Il Kim Head of PM Division / Strategy & Management

Sung Il is a Head of Planning & Management Division and joined Woori PE in February 2012. Prior to joining Woori PE AM, he worked in corporate banking, investment banking, strategy & risk management at Jeil Savings Bank for 11 years.

Sung Il holds BA in Economics from Soongsil University.

Woo Joon Kwak Head of PE Division 2 / PE

Woo Joon joined Woori PE Asset Management in December 2018. As a key fund manager of Woori-Shinyoung Growth-Cap PEF I and Woori-Q Corporate Restructuring PEF, he led the entire process from the fundraising, closing, and investments. In particular, his expertise in media and infrastructure sectors led to successful investments and exits of Focus Media Korea, T&F Global, and Dongshin. He is also one of the key fund managers of Green ESG Growth PEF I, which was established in May 2022. Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, Woo Joon managed PEFs at SKS Private Equity and Q Capital Partners. Before that, he worked at Ernst & Young Advisory as a certified public accountant.

Do Yoon Kim Head of PE Division 2 / PE

Do Yoon joined Woori PE Asset Management in August 2024. Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, he managed PEF and worked on various deals at Hana Financial Investment, Hanwha Investment, LB Investment, and Forest Partners. He also has experience managing portfolio companies as a C-level executive. With his expertise in consumer goods and retail sectors, he has successfully invested and led exit in these sectors. He is currently managing NH-Woori New Deal Growth Cap PEF I.

Sung Eun Ahn Managing Director / PE

Sung Eun joined Woori PE Asset management in December 2019. He originated and executed various deals leveraging his robust experience and expertise in the industrial sector. Notably, he led the sourcing and establishment of Green ESG Growth PEF I, successfully launched in May 2022. Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, Sung Eun built his career in new business development and strategy with global companies including Corning Incorporated, Samsung Corporation, and Samsung Display.

Tae Jin Park Managing Director / PE

Tae Jin joined Woori PE Asset Management in August 2018. He was in charge of the fundraising and major investments of Woori-Shinyoung Growth-Cap PEF I, Woori-Q Corporate Restructuring PEF, and Green ESG Growth PEF I. Leveraging his experiences in investing in SMEs and mezzanine/restructuring deals, he led the investment of StarCollabo, Nolbal, Enchem, and Ast as a key fund manager of Woori-Q Corporate Restructuring PEF. Heeseo Seo Director / Investment Solutions

Heeseo joined Woori PE Asset Management in September 2024 as a director of the Investment Solutions Division, which includes Private Debt, Credit, Secondary, Infrastructure, and Real Estate Investment. Prior to joining Woori PE, Heeseo was a General Manager of the Alternative Investment Management Division at Kiwoom Asset Management, where she was responsible for executing and managing investments across various asset classes, including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity and Private Credit with a focus on the US, Europe and Korea.
Heeseo holds a BCom in Accounting from Macquarie University.

Si Hwan Cho Director / Investment Solutions

Si Hwan joined Woori PE Asset Management's Investment Solutions Division in 2024 and is responsible for managing Private Debt, Credit, Secondary, and Infrastructure Funds. Prior to joining Woori PE, he was at Woori Bank for 20 years, where he worked on commercial loans, as well as M&A, PI and Real Estate Project Financing as part of the IB Division.

Si Hwan holds an MA in Chinese Studies from Hanyang University's Graduate School of International Studies and an MBA from CEIBS.

Bong Hyun Cho Director / PE

Bong Hyun joined Woori PE Asset Management in January 2021. Bong Hyun was in charge of the fund raising and closing of NH-Woori New Deal Growth Alpha PEF I, which was established in June 2022, as well as post-investment management of major portfolio companies of Woori-Shinyoung Growth-Cap PEF I. Based on his expertise in the platform and content sectors, he is leading the investments for NH-Woori New Deal Gross Alpha PEF. Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, he worked at Samjong KPMG, Deloitte Anjin and EY Hanyoung, where he conducted audit, financial due diligence, valuation, and financial advisory.

Tae Kwan An Director / Strategy & Management

Director An joined Woori PE in August 2024. He is currently responsible for both business planning and management. He began his asset management career at Mirae Asset Global Investments and further developed his expertise in business planning at Hanwha Asset Management. Prior to joining Woori PE, he led the business planning team at Hyundai Asset Management.

Yoon Jong Hwang General Manager / PE

Yoon Jong joined Woori PE Asset Management in August 2021. With his robust experience in the consumer goods and IT industries, he oversaw investments in Logispot and Doosan Engineering & Construction of Woori-Q Corporate Restructuring PEF. He also played a critical role in fundraising and establishing of Green ESG Growth PEF I, which was established in May 2022. Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, he conducted financial due diligence, valuation, and sell-side M&A advisory at Deloitte Anjin.

Hee Geun joined Woori PE Asset Management in January 2024. Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, he was involved in various growth capital and buyout deals at Q Capital Partners and gained extensive experience in promising industries. Also, he was involved in infrastructure finance at Hana Securities and financial due diligence, valuation, M&A advisory service at Samjong KPMG.

Su Hyuk joined Woori PE Asset Management in March 2024. Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, he managed Private Debt Fund at Multi Asset Global Investments, and carried out various financial due diligence, M&A advisory and bankruptcy court examiner at Deloitte Anjin LLC.

Byung Hee Lee General Manager / Investment Solutions

Byung Hee joined Woori PE in September 2020 as a Senior Manager in the Asset Management Division. He has been involved in various overseas infrastructure/real estate deals, where he assessed potential investments and monitored portfolio assets for the fund.

Prior to joining Woori PE, Byung Hee was an Investment Manager at IGIS Real Assets Investment and Hana Alternative Asset Management, where he focused on Power & Infrastructure. Before that, he was an Investment Analyst at KTB Asset Management in the Overseas Real Estate Investment Division.

Byung Hee holds MS in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University and BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.

Euisoon Park Senior Manager / Investment Solutions

Euisoon (Jason) joined Woori PE Asset Management as a senior manager of the Investment Solutions Division, which includes Private Credit, Secondary Equity, Infrastructure, and Real Estate investment. Prior to Woori PE, Euisoon was with Samsung as an investment banking professional responsible for multiple M&A and IPO advisories in various sectors. Also, Euisoon worked in Investment and Portfolio management team at Read Capital (PE) and Primer Sazze (VC), where he was involved in multiple investments and due diligence.

Euisoon received an MBA from UC Berkeley, Haas school of business and a B.S. in Business Administration from Korea University.

Shinkook Kang

Shinkook Kang was appointed CEO of Woori Private Equity Asset Management on March 20, 2024. Established in 2005, Woori Private Equity Asset Management is a private equity asset management company affiliated with Woori Financial Group. Woori Private Equity Asset Management currently manages 26 funds with a collective scale of 2.3 trillion Korean Won.

His previous positions include Managing Director of Woori Bank IB Business Group, Executive Vice President of the Financial Market Business Group, Head, Business Unit(Corporate & Investment Banking Unit). His guidance has led to outstanding results in the bank's domestic and foreign financing, overseas investment, IB, and corporate finance sectors.

Equipped with extensive knowledge and insight into the financial market as a whole, and well acquainted with diverse financial companies and enterprises, CEO Kang is expected to be capable of sourcing deals from various investors. Furthermore, he is the most suitable person to expand Woori Private Equity Asset Management’s work to include customized funds and buyout funds, to better suit investor needs.

His core values as CEO are safety in asset management, high profitability for investors, and warm reliability for clients.

Prior to joining Woori PE, Heeseo was a General Manager of the Alternative Investment Management Division at Kiwoom Asset Management, where she was responsible for executing and managing investments across various asset classes, including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity and Private Credit with a focus on the US, Europe and Korea.
Heeseo holds a BCom in Accounting from Macquarie University.

Si Hwan Cho Director / Investment Solutions

Si Hwan joined Woori PE Asset Management's Investment Solutions Division in 2024 and is responsible for managing Private Debt, Credit, Secondary, and Infrastructure Funds. Prior to joining Woori PE, he was at Woori Bank for 20 years, where he worked on commercial loans, as well as M&A, PI and Real Estate Project Financing as part of the IB Division.

Si Hwan holds an MA in Chinese Studies from Hanyang University's Graduate School of International Studies and an MBA from CEIBS.

Byung Hee Lee General Manager / Investment Solutions

Byung Hee joined Woori PE in September 2020 as a Senior Manager in the Asset Management Division. He has been involved in various overseas infrastructure/real estate deals, where he assessed potential investments and monitored portfolio assets for the fund.

Prior to joining Woori PE, Byung Hee was an Investment Manager at IGIS Real Assets Investment and Hana Alternative Asset Management, where he focused on Power & Infrastructure. Before that, he was an Investment Analyst at KTB Asset Management in the Overseas Real Estate Investment Division.

Byung Hee holds MS in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University and BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.

Euisoon Park Senior Manager / Investment Solutions

Euisoon (Jason) joined Woori PE Asset Management as a senior manager of the Investment Solutions Division, which includes Private Credit, Secondary Equity, Infrastructure, and Real Estate investment. Prior to Woori PE, Euisoon was with Samsung as an investment banking professional responsible for multiple M&A and IPO advisories in various sectors. Also, Euisoon worked in Investment and Portfolio management team at Read Capital (PE) and Primer Sazze (VC), where he was involved in multiple investments and due diligence.

Euisoon received an MBA from UC Berkeley, Haas school of business and a B.S. in Business Administration from Korea University.

Wonsuk Choi Manager / Investment Solutions

Wonsuk joined Woori PE in August 2022 as an assistant manager. He has assisted in forming and managing domestic & foreign Real Estate, Infrastructure Fund. Nowadays he is involved in the domestic Real Estate sector and venture investment assistant.

Wonsuk holds BA in Sociology from Chung-Ang University.

Seon Ju Ha Manager / Investment Solutions

Seon Ju joined Woori PE in October 2022 as an assistant manager. She assists in establishing and managing domestic and overseas real estate and infrastructure funds, with a strong focus on the domestic real state sector and venture investment.

Seonju holds BA in Accounting from Duksung Women's University.

Hyeonjin Kim Manager / Investment Solutions

Hyeonjin Kim is a Manager at Woori PE, having joined the firm in 2024. He is responsible for Private Credit, Secondary Fund, infrastructure, and real estate investments and operations. Prior to joining Woori PE, he worked at Ernst & Young, specializing in FDD, valuation, and M&A advisory. He also held a role in investments management at ABL Life Insurance.

Hyeonjin Kim holds a degree in Finance from KIMEP University and is a CFA charter-holder.

Sung Il Kim Head of PM Division / Strategy & Management

Sung Il is a Head of Planning & Management Division and joined Woori PE in February 2012. Prior to joining Woori PE AM, he worked in corporate banking, investment banking, strategy & risk management at Jeil Savings Bank for 11 years.

Sung Il holds BA in Economics from Soongsil University.

Tae Kwan An Director / Strategy & Management

Director An joined Woori PE in August 2024. He is currently responsible for both business planning and management. He began his asset management career at Mirae Asset Global Investments and further developed his expertise in business planning at Hanwha Asset Management. Prior to joining Woori PE, he led the business planning team at Hyundai Asset Management.

Yeseul Lee General Manager / Strategy & Management

Yeseul joined Woori PE in September 2024, she is in charge of Finance accounting of strategy and management division. Prior to joining Woori PE, She was in charge of overall management support in Plus Asset Management and ASAM Aseet Management.

Seohee is covering finance/accounting in the Strategy and Management Division. Prior to joining Woori PE in 2023, she worked in finance/accounting at Pebbles Investment, and Brain Asset Management.

Seunghee Lee Manager / Strategy & Management

Seunghee joined Woori PE Asset Management in August 2024. She supports overall investment management and fund operations in the Strategy & Management Division.

Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, Seunghee worked at Shinhan Fund Partners, Capstone Asset Management and Woori Global Asset Management.

Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, Yejin worked at Korea Fund Partners, Pebblestone Asset Management and Samchully Asset Management.

Suin joined Woori PE Asset Management in December 2023. She is in charge of secretary affairs and management support for the CEO.

Prior to joining Woori PE Asset Management, Suin worked at NongHyup Financial Group and NH Investment & Securities, Office for Government Policy Coordination.

Il Soo Park joined Woori PE in April 2024 as a head of Risk and Compliance.

Prior to joining Woori PE, Il Soo Park worked for Finance and Economy Dept. in Hanil Economic Research Institution, IB Dept. in Woori Financial Group, and a wide range of career in Woori Bank(International Finance Dept. Derivatives Finance Dept, Joo-ang Corporate Banking Headquarters, etc).

Il Soo holds MA in Economics and BA in Business Administration from Yonsei University.

Jae Jin Jeong Senior Manager / Compliance & Risk Management

Jae Jin joined Woori PE in April 2021. Prior to joining Woori PE, he worked at On Asset Management covering Administration and Compliance Support.

Jae Jin holds BA in Accounting from Brigham Young University-Hawaii.

Min Kyoung Park / Compliance & Risk Management

Manager Min-Kyoung Park joined Woori PE Asset Management in May 2025. Previously, she performed compliance duties in the Compliance Team at Shinyoung Asset Management.

She graduated from the Department of Public Policy at Hanyang University and majored in Financial Investment at the Hanyang University Graduate School of Business.
